Hi,
my shower curtain rail collapsed off the wall when I fell out of the bath:eek: You automatically grab hold of it. The bit that is attached to the wall broke and despite trying to glue it it wont hold the rail up. Everywhere I go just sells the whole kit, I only want one bit. I have looked on on Ebay etc but can only find whole kits, does anyone know a site which sells parts?:( I live on my own and am not exactly handy with drills and things.
Thanks
Pam

I think you have answered your own question. They are such a low value item that it is not cost effective for companies to manufacture spares.
Looks like you woill have to bite the bullet and get a new one.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Would one of those expanding ones do only £9.99 at Argos
Does for me, never fallen off the wall, but I guess if I grabbed it, it would just come down

I was in Sainsburys home base and they were 25 pounds upwards, plus its very irritating that companies dont do spares anymore, it make for a disposable society, and corresponding waste!0

I tried for ages to find that picture
That's exactly what I would suggest. Also (possibly better/stronger) would be the identical looking one that's used to support a chrome kitchen table leg. They are available from the larger B&Q and possibly the other big DIY sheds. You have been reading.....another magnificent post by garethgas :beer:0 -
