Cheapest Car insurance for 17 Year Old Girl any Ideas??

I am about to investigate car insurance for my 17 year old daughter who turns 17 on 5th January.
I will be doing the usual Quidco, Confused.com etc.
Was wondering if anyone had any cheap quotes recently. I did an excercise on this a couple of months ago and managed to get quote around £900 from Tesco. (Needless to say its looking like over £1,000 now).
Car is a 2004 Fiat Panda 1.2.
This is my job for this morning.

Hi - the three names to try here are https://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk and
https://www.quinn-direct.com (as confused will not quote with these companies) and youngladydriver.I cannot guarantee they will all be cheaper than Tesco but as they all specialize in young drivers I hope you do find a cheaper price.0 -
Initial round of enquiries:-
Confused won't quote until you are 17 which is a pain so Birthday has moved forward to 2 January which is a pain and I will have to sort. All quotes are over £1100!!
Tesco is showing @ £999.60
Diamond is £833 on 10 month bonus accelerator or £955 on normal 12 months. Confused quoted at £1260!!
Will try McLarens suggestions0 -
for 3 years ince our daughter was 17 .. endsleigh have found us the lowest price .
What i always do is go through all the normal steps of confused..quidco etc ... find the lowest possible .. than talk to endsleigh ... and only mentioning lowest quote if i have to .. ie if their quote is higher.
Without that certainly for 2 years endsleigh were unbeatable.0 -
We did not put dd on our insurance as soon as she as she turned 17 as we waned her to have some lessons first. Every month that u delay is 80 quid towards more lessons.0

Another update:-
The Diamond quote was wrong daughter put annual mileage as 1,000 so it jumped to over £1100.
Called endsleigh and they were well over £1400. They were surprised they wern't the cheapest.
Changed Tesco, to daughter as only driver and got that down to £919.
But best so far is KwikFit at £790 which is looking good.
Will leave it for 24 hours and will probably deal on this price (want to check I haven't made any mistakes)0 -
Hi - so that you can squeeze the last few £££ from the financial world did you notice that although Kwikfit have not signed up with Quidco taking out the policy via Topcashback will generate another £36.00?0
