I can confirm, unless it was a coincedence? that after many phone calls to Sky about a problem, it was only when i used the email that i had a reply and a resolution was found.
I would give it a try, they even gave me 3 months credit as compensation.Sponsored by Tesco Clubcard Points !!0 -

Yes, I had a similar experience, in fact I had no luck with several calls to CS, then one email to this address got a reply within 24 hours and a fix within 72 hours.
Surprising, since it obviously doesn't GO to Mr Murdoch and is widely known.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

I did take names of every person I spoke to but they still said there was no record!
Thanks for the e-mail address though I will try that.0 -
I cancelled mine Nov 27 - cut off date 27 Dec, it was still on two days later, but before that they sent me a letter saying my bank had informed them that my DD had been cancelled and I was to be charged an admin fee of £4 something, it went straight in the bin, incompetent companies are the bain of my life, I owed them nothing, infact, they owe me a few pounds but cannot be bothered to go through the rigmorole of trying to get it back, maybe I should!0

Please forgive me moralising, but I hope this was metaphorical. You should never just throw demands for money in the bin.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

Sorry was too lazy to type the whole story, it went in the bin AFTER I'd read the small print at the bottom which said 'please disregard this letter if you have cancelled your account' blah de blah, which in itself is another bug bear, do these people NOT communicate? :mad:0

I long since pulled the phone line out of the sky box!I am registered with them via their website and when i wanted to reduce the package last year i used that means. Then we upped it again some months later and it worked perfectly, meaning i could also check that everything had been done as i had requested.
When you think of the money this corporation makes from its customers, there is no excuse for trying to squeeze an extra few weeks out of people that don't wish to use them any more, for whatever reason. It is disgraceful. However when you look at the large amount of rubbish on terrestrial i for one am glad they exist!!0
