I have heard it is possible to do this i.e. zip/button to lace up - the other way round is a bit more difficult.0

mine is zip and being changed to lace up0

Mine was lace up. Would have been so much easier to have a zip though - especially if you needed the loo!0

My dress was zip up and changed to lace up. It is possible to do if you are doing it simply because you want the other style - if it is because you cannot fasten the zip up and are therefore using a lace up to make the dress larger then it wont work well. The lace up needs to be a certain shape/size to look right and the seams of the dress should be under the arms when its done up.
The alterations to my dress cost no more than £100 and i had other work done besides the change from zip to lace up.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
