I have to say that this year has been the worst yet for boiler change work.
But saying that, it has been a lot better for repairs, servicing and LGSC.
Swings and roundabouts, but as I'm getting on a bit, I must say I prefer not having to fit new boilers now.0 -

To bring it back on topic..... I agree with what the other RGI's are saying - AVOID the Ideal! I install Vaillants now but have installed Viessmann boilers and they are very good. Worcester Bosch are OK but not my favourite - designed by an idiot , nightmare to service and work on.
I've no idea where you are, which could effect the price, but down here in Kent i'm doing heat only boilers from £1700. That includes a power flush. I must be mad! No wonder i'm poor!0 -

Most reliable boilers are Worcester bosch and Vaillant acording to the which mag. i would also agreeX British Gas engineer and X BG sales adviser.
