Enforcement Orders on Agriculturally tied property

Hi ... I'm new and hope I'm on the right board! My question is .... is it possible to get Enforcement Orders (or Notices) lifted from an agriculturally tied property, or once placed are they there for life regardless of whether ownership of the property changes?

If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
  • ... thanks for that info which is appreciated, but I've read right through and can't find any mention of enforcement orders/notices which is what my question is really about. Unfortunately I'm already aware that it's nigh-on impossible to remove an aoc - well in our case anyway!

If you are looking to get an ag tie removed, you have basically got to show that there is no one who is legally able to live in subject property wants to buy it and this usually means marketing the property for at least 2 years.

  • Sorry if I've not made myself very clear .... it's *not* the ag tie I want to know if I can get lifted, but the enforcement notices which were served on the previous owner of our property, some 20 or so years back and are evidently still in existence and active today.
  • sadly it seems that no-one can help :(

Your query concerns a very specialised area and something I've not seen before.
