I am relocating to Goa for the forseeable future and need to take my dog with me. I understand its a reasonably easy thing to do, no quarantine in India etc.
Can anyone tell me what the procedure is and how long its likely to take to get all necessary paperwork etc, as planning to fly 17th jan!!

DO you really *need* the dog? If it is a guide dog I understand. WOuld you be able to bring it back again?

I know a lot of UK people that have taken their dogs to Goa.It costs £1000s.
I know your dog is part of your family ,but you could always adopt one of the poor dogs that are out there.0 -

I don't know what it will cost you to take it out there, but I'd suggest getting its pet passport before you go. That way if you do need to bring it back you can quarantine it in a home stay in Europe, rather than have to leave it in quarantine kennels here. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0
