Right to cancel a golf membership

Good afternoon,
I joined a golf club near me 7 days ago and have since had a situation that means I will not be able to attend as I wished.
It was a 12 month contract by direct debit and says that you need to give 3 months notice.
Is it possible to get out so soon?
Any advice is welcome

Short and sweetly... no.
You'll need to give your 3 months notice and pay until you are released.
You could though try and appeal to their good nature, but any cancellation would be a goodwill gesture.0 -
What's the "situation"?
If it's because your arm has fallen off (or similar medical reason making it near impossible to play golf), then a doctor's note should be enough for a cancellation.
If it's because you no longer have enough money, then I'm afraid it's tough, and you'll just have to cancel and pay for the 3 months cancellation period, and make the most of the course in those three months.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
