ive got two houses in mine and my wifes name, one in my name and another in mine and my sisters name. is this ok??

As long as the mortgage lenders know, yes. There's no limit other than their willingness to lend. You can only have one as your primary residence for capital gains tax elimination.0

I would suggest keeping friendly with your wife and sister!
Circumstances can work against you, a friend got divorced and her brother had put a house in her name.
