As per title really.
I'm currently using a Kingston Data Traveller 8GB but am very disapointed with the speed when I'm transferring files - it takes forever!
Can anyone recommend a really fast USB flash drive?
Thanks

If USB 2, then 25 MB/s:

The speed of the device is only a small step in the chain - do you have USB 1.1, 2 or 3? The whole computer needs to support USB3 to benefit from that, and many older machines don't support USB2 on every port either. The drive may not be the bottleneck0

Thanks for the help and advice everyone, much appreciated!
I'm running Windows Vista on a fairly fast Dell machine.
It's USB 2.0 (machine is approx 3 and a 1/2 years old).
I'm currently getting write speeds of approxiamtely 5mb/s on my Kingston.
Would generally be transferring files between 500mb - 1GB in size.
Very impressed by the look of the Patriot Xporter....that's what I'm leaning towards at the minute.
Once again, thanks folks - very useful and informative information!0
