I would like to join you in a few weeks time :rotfl: I have a Folksy shop and have registered with Etsy but couldn't figure out how to do a couple of things while setting up the page. I just needed to spend time reading all the info to figure it out but 18 months later still haven't :o I'm working on my business more so need to put stuff in my Folksy shop and then sort out Etsy. This thread will hopefully motivate me :T

I have an etsy shop! Two shops in fact!! Are we allowed to post names or links to our shops in the thread so we can find each other? I sell handmade goodies out of mainly reclaimed materials and also fine art photography and printed goods. Made a sale this morning too, whoo!

I find my blog sends a lot of traffic to my shops, posting tutorials and things that people are interested in, they end up at my blog after a google search and click to my shop, and also using craft forums and being a helpful bunny where possible!

I'm afraid that would be advertising, but see this part of the Forum Rules.

Yes I thought so, I refreshed myself on the rules a couple of weeks ago and came across that bit. Thanks for posting Savvy_Sue! :)

The Crafts Forum may be the sort of place you are looking for, and it allows people to publish their shop's detail.
MSE is a great place in many ways, but it's a more public and varied forum. From my experience on the eBay board, people need to be very careful about giving out their selling IDs.
