Jersey is an excellent place for a family holiday, tons to do, prices are reasonable. Kids will love it, good beaches, very good zoo.
I would suggest you go self catering, of some kind. We went several years back and stayed at Mariner Cottages: They were on the NW corner of the island with the most amazing view all down the west coast of the island. I think we found them in a Jersey holiday brochure. There is phone number on the site below.

You will need a car, so either fly and get one there or go by boat and take you own.
Also don't forget that The Channel Islands are not part of the EU so the "old" Duty Free allowances still apply !

Jersey is a lovely place to go.

Places to go include Elizaebth Castle via the Puddleduck's, Jersey Pearl and Jersey Gold, and Jersey Zoo

Can anyone recommend any nice but reasonable hotels to stay in
Looking to raise some money ;)
  • My brother and sister-in-law live there with a 2 YO son and a newborn boy too. Brilliant place. Flyh there (cheapest way).

Bus is extremely cheap 50p all day for the whole island.

Stay near St. Hellier if possible, as there is much more to see and do

    they may have something there
  • does anyone know if there are any hol parks/caravan parks (where you can hire a large resedential caravan for the week). Cant seem to find any online where you can book one for a week, just where you can take your own-which we dont have. Although camping is good, its not what i want for our main hol..thanks
