Those tea party folk are certifiably insane. They have no idea what they are tinkering with.
That all having been said, perhaps it would be a good thing is US treasury was not seen as the safe haven in the medium term as perhaps people would realise that they have to take some risk with their cash and perhaps invest in businesses and enterprise which will have a positive impact on economies.
Who'd have thought that the UK would be seen as a safe haven?0 -

The biggest chance is that everything will be fine but there is an outside chance that things will go very badly indeed. You should consider stocking up on imported essentials IMVHO. In the UK that includes food.0 -
