BUY/SELL an HOUSE at the same time

Hi!
We bought an house in Florida view months ago.
Now we have to move to another area and we need to sell our house and buy another one.

We don't know exactly how do to that, regarding the timing!

We're worry to find the new house before we'll sell our.

Our doubts are:
1st: How long does sell an house take? (the house is in Miami)
2nd: When should we start trying to sell our house before to find a new one??

This site is very much UK-oriented, you're more likely to get the help you want on a US-based site.
  • In the UK the best way is to sell the property you are living in (subject to contract), and then start looking for a new house.

I have no idea which is the best way in America, sorry.
