Opening/closing date & time:

· Competition opens for entries online only via the www.itv.com website as stated in the 30’ spot advertisement broadcast in the advertisement breaks during and at the conclusion of the episode of “Emmerdale” broadcast on 5 August 2011 (the “advertisements”).

· Competition closes for entries at midnight on Sunday 14th August 2011.

Competition draw date:

Within no more than 48 hours of the closing date and time for all entries.

Method of entry:

Go to www.itv.com/argos and follow the instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number provided.

Winner selection and contact:

Entrants will be entered into a draw to win the competition prize (the “prize”). The first correct entry drawn at random from all entries will be the winner of the prize subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions.

Prize:

The prize is Argos giftcards worth £10,000 (made up of 400 individual giftcards each worth £25) to spend in Argos stores only in the UK (the ‘giftcards’). The giftcards are subject to additional terms and conditions and restrictions including but not limited to the following:

· The giftcards expire on 31December 2014.

· On expiry, any remaining balance on the giftcards will be cancelled without further liability to the winner.

· The giftcards cannot be redeemed or re-issued after expiry of the validity period as indicated.

· The giftcards may be redeemed in full or part payment for goods in the current Argos catalogue, including promotional offers at the prevailing prices listed in the catalogue.

· The giftcards cannot be used online.

· Giftcards cannot be used for the purchase of other giftcards or vouchers.

· The value of any monetary balance of any individual giftcard may not be exchanged for cash equivalent or alternative prize.

· Giftcards cannot be redeemed in the Republic of Ireland.

· Giftcards are not credit cards, payment cards or cheque guarantee cards, and cannot be redeemed for cash or be returned under the Argos 30 day moneyback guarantee.

· Giftcards cannot be sold without the prior agreement of the prize provider.

· It is the responsibility of the winner to pay for the value of any item which exceeds the value of the giftcards.

· The giftcards cannot be used retrospectively, i.e. they cannot be applied to any purchases already made.

· The provider and/or the issuer of the giftcards is responsible for the redemption of the giftcards.

· The Promoter and/or the issuer of the giftcards will not be liable where a giftcard has been lost, stolen or damaged, in whole or in part, following delivery.

· The prize provider and/or the issuer of the giftcards reserves the right to decline the giftcards at any time.
