Can I claim JSA?

Hi I am a Teaching Assistant but my contract has just ended. My husband works full time so just asking whether I can claim JSA for myself?

If you have paid sufficient national insurance contributions in the tax years April 08/09 and April 09/10 then you may be entitled to contribution based JSA0
