Cheap or discounted insulation?

Bright, sunny day and someone asks about insulation :eek:

I'm trying to plan ahead after a really cold last winter and want to either replace or add extra insulation into the roof space and happy to do it myself.

I'm disabled and on benefits - are there any schemes where i can get it at reduced costs? Have seen these types of offers before but can't remember where and searching isn't my strong point

Anyone point me in the correct direction? Pretty Please!

i believe the government work in conjunction with British gas to get free insulation, give your local council a call

if thats no hope, b&q do rockwool which one of the best for £3 a roll which covers about 10 sqm

Look at your gas/electricity suppliers' website for starters.

i'm not on any benifits but british gas has just insulated my walls for no cost , so you could either contact your gas / electric supplier or your local council , it shouldn't cost you anything
