Can I use this rail ticket for the Olympics ?

Hi,

Before Xmas last year, I got an offer of a free 1st rail return ticket. I won't provide details in order to protect my identity.

The letter from the railway company does not specify a date when I have to take up this offer; so can I wait until the Olympics next year before grabbing the offer as I have got tickets for the Olympics ?

My response......Why pay for an alleged good deal when you can get it for free and also travel 1st class for free ?

and in addition....I only seldomly use trains !!!!

Wouldnt it be best to ask the rail company concerned?

Would you really expect an offer to be open for more than 18 months?

Are you sure that you've looked at all the terms and conditions? Sometimes a document contains a summary and refers you to a website for full ones.
