Tesco super unleaded fuel nozzle too big?

I've noticed in a few Tesco stations that since they rebranded their super unleaded petrol to 'momentum' I've been unable to fit the nozzles into my car. They look rounded like they have been dropped. Standard unleaded fits fine. Tried 3 different garages at different pumps and all the same. Has anyone else experienced this?
Currently driving a Mazda 6 but had same issue with my last car Hyundai Coupe as well.
Very frustrating as local store often runs out of standard unleaded and my car generally runs better on super (smoother and better mpg).

No I am certainly not putting petrol in a diesel car!! They are 100% petrol cars.
I have heard some mutterings on other forums about Tesco super unleaded nozzles being too big but they normally turn into a bp v shell v supermarket fuel argument so never address the issue.
Anyway, back to my question, has anyone else experienced this or have Asian cars just got ridiculously tight fuel filler necks?!0 -
A lot of high performance japanese cars even though there built to run on a higher RON rated petrol cant take the larger nozzle mainly because japanese fuel stations have the same size nozzle as uk unleaded ones, hence no need to make it larger. You will find though that the super unleaded nozzle is actually smaller than diesel ones though. My 350Z used to have similar problems so i stuck to standard unleaded.0
