Just got a call from my mum, she has just a letter about her annual travel insurance which expires in around 3 weeks.
The letter states the can no longer insure my parents on an annual policy but they will be happy to quote for a single trip.
They have one holiday booked at the moment to southern spain in Feb 2012 so i have advised her to ring the insurance company to get a quote for a single trip.
in the meantime can any one suggest any insurance companies who will insure them at a reasonable price.
Both are aged 81, mum had a triple heart bypass 8 years ago dad was given the all clear following kidney stones 2 years ago both are fairly active and in good heath for their age

Try Columbus Direct, don't know if any good in this case or maybe Saga (Send a granny away).
Not recommending in this case just starting points for you.0 -

Thanks for the suggestion I have tried Columbus Direct they will insure them but will not include mums condition in the insurance, Saga have quoted them £350 +for 7 days, they have rung the company they were with last year and have got a single weeks insurance for just over £100 which considering their ages and medical conditions they are reaasonably happy with0
