I've just booked to go to Las Vegas in May for our wedding anniversary.:j
We would like to see the Grand Canyon whilst we are there.
There would appear to be several helicopter companies offering a variety of trips, can anyone recommend any companies or trips?
Thanks
Dave

We went with Papillon Helicopter Tours and found them very good... picked up from hotel early morning and did the over the edge trip , flight over the Hoover Dam and the Lake , then flew along the Canyon down to the canyon floor, breakfast and explore then flight back and down the strip... it was awesome and well worth the money we spent.. its a once in a lifetime event thats not to be missed...

We went with sundance in Oct las year we chose to do the sunset flight which was amazing! They picked us by Limo late afternoon took us to their terminal near Mccarran airport and we flew to the canyon landed in the canyon for a picnic and flew back at dusk sunset was amazing! By the time we reached the strip it was dark, another amazing view as we flew down the strip and saw it in all it's neon glory.. Its pricey but imho worth every cent. Enjoy!

Have a look in the last vegas thread that's a sticky at the top of the forum for it

I've not been to the grand canyon yet - but we're planning an overnight trip there while we're in Vegas at New Year - from what I've read you need to make sure you visit the South Rim rather than the West Rim. The south rim is the "proper" grand canyon.0 -
we used this one: http://www.maverickhelicopter.com/0
