venice, verona and other Garda maps

Hi everyone
I wonder if you could help me
I'm off to Lake Garda (Limone) on Weds and wonder if there is a good website to print out town maps so that I can have agood explore once I get there.
Also if anyone could suggest the cheapest way to park in Venice I'd be really grateful.
Many thanks

We stayed at the holiday inn just outside Venice. The carpark was I think 5 euros for the days parking and the return bus was 4 euros. You could park there and get the bus in, dont think parking in Venice is that easy...

Thanks that sounds brilliant. Was it the MESTRE MARGHERA and did you mean use their car park for 5 euros?

Yes, thats the one and we did actually stay there, but I think you could use their car park and just pay the guy at the booth anyway. Failing that if you drove around the hotel, its a housing area behind it and you could park on the street. Then cheekily ask in the hotel for directions to the bus stop - they give out little maps. Its a 2 min walk and you get the bus tickets at the little newsagents before you board the bus.

I dont know if this will interest you but we loved it - when we got off the bus in Venice we were about to cross the nearest bridge heading into the centre and someone stopped me and asked if we were going to Murano - I did want to (jewellery and glass buff :) )but I wanted to do it the following day. He said come back and I will give you tickets for the boat. Well we went back, he gave us tickets and we got on the most gorgeous little boat, very posh, leather seats and it was just us even though it would have seated about 8. We felt like film stars as he zipped us across to Murano. We then got a factory tour and glass making demo and a guided tour of the shop. I did buy some jewellery but not any of the glass which was stunning and was hugely expensive. By the time we got outside the guy who showed us round was having a smoke and said the public boat bus is that way :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It was obviously an incentive to buy something nice... I guess if we'd spent thousands we'd have got the posh boat back! Soooo worth the ride though and we got the public bus back :)

ETA- take a picnic!!! We stopped in a pizza place and by the time we sat down and ordered 2 cokes with the surcharges it was 20 euro....
