help please

i had a 8.000 loan with royal bank of scotland in 2003 when i got it the lady asks me if i wanted ppi and i said and i told her the i had crohns and she said that was ok if i came out work it was still covered in 2005 i had op so i couldnt work after the op i became disabled thought the op but carry on pay the loan for 2 month in that 2month i sent the insurance claim of 2 twice but they said they never got.i have not payed any money to them for 4 year now they say i ow them 14.000 can someone help please and if can claim ppi thanks:(

    Hi and welcome.

    I understand you can try making a reclaim on the PPI you have paid into the account?

    I note you said you haven't paid any payments to them in 4 years now, do you mean this is a settled/paid off account or due to difficulties you have not been paying for the loan?

    Sorry if I have mis read, but if there is anything owing, they may possibly use the refund towards any arrears, but otherwise it comes back to you.

    To make a reclaim, complete the step 3 questionnaire below, keep a copy for yourself as well and send to their complaints or head office, allow 8 weeks, but they may write to ask for more time if required.
