Stop scare mongering. Im not terminally ill and I have been in the support group for nearly three years!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
My husband was on the old Invalidity Benefit, he is now retired and on a Pension so it will not affect him but his company pension was not taken into account for his benefit. I am pretty sure that it was for Incapacity Benefit. If the transition agreement is scrapped then the benefit will be reduced when the claimant receives over a certain amount of company pension, I think it used to be £85 per week. So the old Invalidity claiments will also be subject to that rule too.0

And rightly so as it is hardly fair to have a 2 tier system.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

for those being transfered from IB to ESA there will be transitional relief which means they will be gauranteed their current level of benefits until 2020,although they wont be increased during that period0
