Friday - Mince and tatties

meals for the week but not in particular order as we have them as we the mood takes us :j
1. Roast chicken and home grown new pots and broad beans
2. Chicken and veg stir fry
3. HM stewed steak with home grown pots and peas
4. Chilli topped with nachos and grated cheese
5. HM lasagne
6. HM beef curry and rice
Still very excited by harvesting my first potatoes and broad beans.....not blessed with the greenest of fingers so makes it al the more exciting. Think my broad beans might be a lot later than everyone elses but they still taste as good. Alan Titchmarsh has nothing to fear0 -

Spag Bolog salad and garlic bread
Thurs- Quorn Curry
Chicken Curry Rice and prawn crackers
Fri- takeaway (OH pays:) )
Sat- Chicken Parmigiana
Aubergine Parmigiana Tomato bread and spaghetti with tomato sauce
Sun roast ham roast/mash potatoes Veggies

Thai green pork curry with green beans
Spicy chicken drumsticks with hm garlic and herb wedges and corn on the cob

Monday - Carrot and lentil risotto
Tuesday - gnocchi and tomato sauce
Wednesday - Smoked haddock and macaroni cheese (sounds yuk but is delicious)
Thursday - HM chicken pie with steamed vegetables
Friday - breaded fish portions with chips and mushy peas
Saturday - meal out for DH birthday

Tryingtosave I would love your recipe for sticky lamb ribs - I am wondering if I can make it with Venison.
I was hunting for this thread yesterday - want to start posting menu plans again (I was still writing them - just no-one but me and mr hedgesparrow knew about it!) I love reading other peoples cause it helps me come up with ideas.
Anyway:
Mon: Sausage, courgette, onion and potato bake.
Tue: Coley with pasta and sundried tomato paste
Wed: Cashew, cabbage, courgette stirfry with noodles
Thurs: Venison Steak and Couscous with hot vinagrette
Fri: At my parents
Sat: Spag Bol
Sun: Roast Venison, pots, roast onions and whatever veg is at allotment.Grocery Challenge £114.22/ £1100 -

monday- mackeral fishcakes with salad
tuesday- baked potatoes with beans
wednesday-white bean chorizo and herb salad
thursaday- lentil soup (sc) with portions to freeze for next week.

sunday- white cabbage gratin with some kind of roast meat or butchers sausages
rhubarb crumble
I am away next week so will leave a plan with meals I have batch cooked this week so: chilli & Rice, shepherdless pie, lasagne, lentil soup & a coconut dahl for them to choose from. Or they can do baked spuds for quick meal too. Hoping they won't spend too much of the the GC budget.
