    subject to change based on if i remember to take the stuff out the freezer in time!
    Mon - SC chicken casserole w/rice
    Tues - Fish and Chips
    Wed - SC Steak casserole w mash
    Thurs - Pasta of some description
    Friday - Mince and tatties
    Sat - HM chicken nuggets
    Sun - Roast of some form.

    meals for the week but not in particular order as we have them as we the mood takes us :j

    1. Roast chicken and home grown new pots and broad beans

    2. Chicken and veg stir fry

    3. HM stewed steak with home grown pots and peas

    4. Chilli topped with nachos and grated cheese

    5. HM lasagne

    6. HM beef curry and rice

    Still very excited by harvesting my first potatoes and broad beans.....not blessed with the greenest of fingers so makes it al the more exciting. Think my broad beans might be a lot later than everyone elses but they still taste as good. Alan Titchmarsh has nothing to fear ;)

    Hope you don't mind if I add mine this week. I need to budget for this month and always do better with a meal plan.

    Mon- Spinach soup- quorn dippers, salad, coleslaw and potato salad
    Roast chicken potatoes and veggies

    Tues- creamy butter beans with prawns
    Steak, mushrooms, chips and tomatoes

    Wed- Courgette and lemon linguine
    Spag Bolog salad and garlic bread

    Thurs- Quorn Curry
    Chicken Curry Rice and prawn crackers

    Fri- takeaway (OH pays:) )

    Sat- Chicken Parmigiana
    Aubergine Parmigiana Tomato bread and spaghetti with tomato sauce

    Sun roast ham roast/mash potatoes Veggies
    Nut roastTTT

    My meal plan for this week is:

    Salmon and cod fish pie with vegetables
    Lamb hot pot
    Lasagne with garlic bread
    Thai green pork curry with green beans
    Spicy chicken drumsticks with hm garlic and herb wedges and corn on the cob
    Hot dogs with hm chips and hm coleslaw
    Leftover hm chicken and lentil curry and rice
    Grocery challenge: May £246.29/£250, June £385/£200, July £400/£300, August £198/£200, September £128.53/£120
    NSD's: June 8/10, July 14/10 :j , August 11/12, September 12/12

    I'm a bit late posting this but the plan for this week, starting yesterday is;

    Sunday - roast pork, cabbage & peas
    Monday - Lamb Madras and rice
    Tuesday - Chicken Fajitas
    Wednesday - HM pizzas
    Thursday - Lasagne
    Friday - Bacon & pea risotto
    Saturday - Cous Cous with stir fry veg

    Monday - Carrot and lentil risotto
    Tuesday - gnocchi and tomato sauce
    Wednesday - Smoked haddock and macaroni cheese (sounds yuk but is delicious)
    Thursday - HM chicken pie with steamed vegetables
    Friday - breaded fish portions with chips and mushy peas
    Saturday - meal out for DH birthday
    Sunday - Sunday Roast Dinner at my parent's house!

  • Tryingtosave I would love your recipe for sticky lamb ribs - I am wondering if I can make it with Venison.

    I was hunting for this thread yesterday - want to start posting menu plans again (I was still writing them - just no-one but me and mr hedgesparrow knew about it!) I love reading other peoples cause it helps me come up with ideas.

    Anyway:

    Mon: Sausage, courgette, onion and potato bake.
    Tue: Coley with pasta and sundried tomato paste
    Wed: Cashew, cabbage, courgette stirfry with noodles
    Thurs: Venison Steak and Couscous with hot vinagrette
    Fri: At my parents
    Sat: Spag Bol
    Sun: Roast Venison, pots, roast onions and whatever veg is at allotment.

    Bit late this week:o.

    monday- mackeral fishcakes with salad
    tuesday- baked potatoes with beans
    wednesday-white bean chorizo and herb salad
    thursaday- lentil soup (sc) with portions to freeze for next week.
    friday-pasta with courgette sauce and spinach balls
    saterday-out for dinner
    sunday- white cabbage gratin with some kind of roast meat or butchers sausages
    rhubarb crumble

    I am away next week so will leave a plan with meals I have batch cooked this week so: chilli & Rice, shepherdless pie, lasagne, lentil soup & a coconut dahl for them to choose from. Or they can do baked spuds for quick meal too. Hoping they won't spend too much of the the GC budget :o.

    Tues : Lasagne with salad (going to freeze the rest for next week)
    Wed: sweet and sour chicken with rice
    Thurs : chicken Madras with rice and small nan
    Fri : spicy chilli garlic chicken with rice
    Sat : chilli con carnie with rice (again freeze LO for next week)
    Sun : Sausages & mash with beans
    Mon : Veg chilli Stirfry with noodles

    quite a spicy week this week...cant wait :j
    We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars

    Debt free on 1st Sept 2011...what a journey!

    Mon - DH: Soup and Sandwich, Me: Pasta Bake
    (Went off plan - DH had a tuna and bacon sandwich, and I had a fried egg one - one of those days!)

    Tues - DH: Kipper, hashbrowns and peas, Me: Egg, hashbrowns and beans

    Wed: DH: Bangers and mash and beans, Me : veggie bangers, mash and peas

    Thursday: Omelettes

    Friday: HM Pizza

    Saturday: Lunch: Greek bits, Dinner: DH Curry, and I am away
