Oh thanks for starting this thread. Had big shop delivered by mr t yesterday so need to think about menu plans for next couple of weeks as got quite a lot of meat.

Sat sandwich and salad/ jerk pork

Sun courgette and smoked salmon pasta/ lentil soup

Mon scrambled egg with smoked salmon/ stir fry chicken

    Tues pork with mushroom sauce

Wed toad in the hole, apple crumble

Thurs spinach and chick pea curry and nan bread

    Fri lamb chops

Just me this weekend so no roasts. Freezer quite well stocked so hoping to keep next shop low. Glad have frozen berries from the garden as they are expensive in winter. desert like to be fruit or yoghurt except for the apple crumble. Muffins baking has gone well. May bake on Tuesday and do some cheese and onion muffins so dh can take these along with packed lunch. Tip I find using oil I stead of butter helps them stay fresher for longer

Thanks for starting us off, hotcookie. My plan for this week is a bit tentative as it depends on how well my electric cooker recovers from being given an impromptu shower by a burst water pipe yesterday. Assuming it's OK, I'll be having:

Friday - macaroni cheese with ham (a ready meal  :o - my microwave was about the only thing that didn't get drenched in the deluge! ;))
Saturday - meal out as my sister's visiting
Sunday - lunch out; HM bread and jam for tea if needed

    Monday to Thursday -
    halloumi, lentil and tomato salad
    prawn, broccoli and pesto pasta
halloumi-stuffed peppers, salad and new potatoes
    chilli con carne and rice

Have a good week, all. :)
Back after a very long break!

I'm away for a fortnight so this is for OH in no particular order:

burgers with all the trimmings X 2
    bolognese x 3
steak with home made chips x 3
beef and vegetable stir fry x 3
    pizza x 3

any extra meals he needs (hollow legs syndrome) would be pasta bakes or beans/spaghetti on toast.
