hi do the dwp or atos send out reminders if your esa form is not in by the due date
thanks in advance
The DWP I believe may well send a reminder in order to protect themselves in legal sense if you do indeed go on to fail to return it in time.
"As part of the ESA claim process, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will send you
a lengthy self-assessment questionnaire called an ESA50. This asks a number of questions
about your condition and how it affects your daily life. You have six weeks to complete and
return the questionnaire. If you don’t return it, the DWP will send you a reminder after four
weeks. You are then given another two weeks from the date the reminder was sent. If you do
not complete and return the questionnaire you will be treated as not having a limited capability
for work and your ESA will stop."
