Hi have just set up a new email account with Yahoo. I have already added a contact in however when I compose a new email and click add receipient it comes up no contacts found.
Forgive me I'm probably doing something stupid. But any help would be appreciated.

If you called that contact "Dave" then start to type Dave and it should autofill...0

Rubbish, isn't it!
I just tested mine and it did the same thing despite having 20 or more contacts.
I gave up and tried again a minute or two later and it worked perfectly.
I haven't use it for years and only have it because it's my ISP (BT) provided address. Now I know why.0 -
Ah so it isn't something I'm doing wrong after all:). Just went in there and fiddled about but to no avail. When I open it up it says view all contacts but says no contacts.
Okay thank you for your help. Wasn't sure if there was some settings needed changed or something.0 -
Looks like a bug to me and an annoying one too.
If you can't get it sorted quickly, I'd choose another service. I've never had any trouble with Hotmail if it helps.0 -

Don't open Contacts, open your new draft email and start typing in the contact's name-as m5rccc says it should then auto-complete, or offer you a choice of similar names.No free lunch, and no free laptop

in addition, it works far better in new Yahoo mail format as opposed to Classic/Standard view .BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? :shocked: OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!
