OK, I'm sure I'm not going mad.

Some point in the last week someone posted on here about a farmers field in woodham being used by gypsies prior to some big festival.

Many posters were commenting on whether or not the OP was being entirely truthful with us all.

I cant find this thread but have seen this story in todays paper

Even more than she quoted and just goes to show how slow the sun are at getting their stories, we all knew of this days ago!

typically i searched woodham (got an interesting thread on a stolen bike) and gypsies (got loads of hits) and when I searched gypsy and found this one that you have kindly linked in I noticed that it didnt have the original story in the 1st post I figured I was wrong on that one too!

So why oh why do people always assume that the search function wasnt consulted 1st!

NOT that that was my vent/praise or warning anyway but thanks
