Is there a fast track service available for searches? Do you know how much quicker it is and how much more it is likely to cost? Our sale is STARTING to move and I was wondering if we could push it faster.

If your solicitor is doing the searches with an online company then the water & drainage, environmental and Chancel search should only take a couple of days from when they are ordered to your solicitor getting the results. The Local Authority search might take a bit longer (ours took a week) although it may be worth checking whether they have a means by which they can expedite it (might cost you a bit more though). If you are in an area which needs mining searches I haven't a clue how long they take I'm afraid!0

Our mining search was returned the same day. Local authority search here is 3 days max but this can vary hugely.0
