I was wondering if any brides could help give me a list of wedding accessories, dress companies that send free catalogues/brochures please. I'm hoping to make a gift for my sister of a wedding planning scrapbook with some magazines and brochures that she can cut up and stick all the things she would like in.
Any help with some companies would be great.
Many thanks xxx
P.S I only have a week so quick replies would be fab

What a lovely idea. Are you a member of freecycle? If so then make a request for old wedding magazines. Which area of the country are you in? If your near Dartmoor or Exeter way then I can give you some. I am a mod on a wedding forum so can make an appeal for anyone close to you that has anything that might help if you like.
Other than that, go to wedding shops and ask for the latest brochures, they usually have some, if you explain what it's for then i'd like to think a canny shopkeeper would spot an eye for a future sale and help you out with old supplier catalogues from this season as they'd have already ordered from them by now. Good luck0 -
Where abouts are you? I have a stack of wedding magazines and with only 3 weeks to go no longer need them0

Im in bedfordshire.:)
I could pay for postage depending on how much it might be,those magazines can be a bit heavy lol
And a request on the wedding forums would be really helpful. Thank you both so much.0 -
No probs, will post a thread for you right away0

I know that sometimes my local tesco has a free local wedding mag in it.
It's usually in the stand near the leaflets with all the free-add magazines.
If you can't find magazines maybe try compiling a list of useful websites and hints and tips etc.0 -
My local House of Frasers often has free wedding mags in their Wedding Section, sometimes they are a few months out of date but good all the same:DMarried the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.0

M&S have a free cakes one, Debenhams do one, BHS do one (usually by the tills), if you go to a local wedding fair you get loads! our local registry office had some in their waiting room too.0

I found the best place for this kind of thhing is wedding fairs. We got given so many booklets, flyers and magazines with loads and loads of info, all free of charge. If there are any fairs near you I would recommend popping in to get some, I'm sure they would be more than willing to give you a big pile of them if you explain why you want them0

I can't really help with free catalogues as the other suggestions are all good but when I was planning I found a website called TheKnot.com to be absolutely brilliant, you have to sign up (but it's free and easy to do so) but there are thousands of photos on there. 80% of the pictures in my wedding scrapbook were printed off from this website. Have a look and print off some things she might like to get the book startedOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
