    I had given them 2 weeks just incase there was a internal error on their part to transfer funds, etc.

    If I'm receiving my funds back from a fixed term bond, its usually via BACS transfer, if I don't get it paid into my current account in 3 or 4 days after the maturity date I would be on the phone asking where it was, as usually its a fair old chunk and wouldn't want to lose out from not being able to re-invest it elsewhere.
    make sure you keep an eye upon maturity date

    Oh yes, again usually have already found and opened a new fixed term bond a couple of days before the old one matures, ready to fund it once the funds hit my current account ;)
