M&S good cervice re returns

I just wanted to post about M&S in Manchester.

The toy robot I bought my son wasn't working properly so I took it to be exchanged. However it had been reduced from £19.50 to £9. I wasn't too bothered about that as I just wanted a straight swap. However they were really lovely, sympathised with the disappointment we had, then offered to take out the batteries for us ( I told them I'd tried new ones in it in case it helped solve the problem)..they didn't have a screwdriver so someone went off looking for one, took them out for me no problem....then when they rang it up they honoured the £10.50 creidt due to the price reduction, meaning I was able to get money off the jewellery box I'd chosen for myself!

Edited to add- the item was originally bought on a 3-for-2 and yet they did not question this at all let alone knock anything off the value paid.

Full "marks" there :T

I work for M&S and It Is a wonderful place to work. The management always ensure the customer Is first.

I would recommend that you write In to the store. If you can remember the member of staff who served you then he or she Is likely to get rewarded with a gift voucher!
