Tax Credits if I move back to mums?

My partner and I may be splitting up:( and I'm looking to make sure I have a financial plan in place, my mum has offered for myself and 4 children to stay at hers if we can not resolve our problems. Obviously I would have to end my joint child tax credits claim but as my mom gets working tax credits would her claim be affected and could I still claim child tax credits or would they be added to her claim as we would be living in her house? I am self employed, normally work 40hrs a week but am currently on maternity leave with my 10 wk old dd.

Your claims are seperate and don't affect each other.alwayspuzzled wrote: »My partner and I may be splitting up:( and I'm looking to make sure I have a financial plan in place, my mum has offered for myself and 4 children to stay at hers if we can not resolve our problems.
