Any ideas for a gift to give to my daughter in law when she marries my son?
I was thinking maybe a piece of jewelry?
Not sure what to get, it's not their main present its just a little something for her.

I'd go with a bracelet .. maybe a charm bracelet with a relevant weddingy charm or a pandora bracelet.. the seem fairly popular.. not a ring.. she'll be getting enough of those on her wedding day

a chain with a locket maybe with a pic of DS and DIL and maybe engraved with the date of their wedding?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
how strange I was just about to ask if she had a pandora bracelet! my husband gave me a charm for mine on our wedding night which is a silver ring cushion with gold wedding rings (the woman's one has a diamond in it) and I absolutely love it, the rest of my charms of silver so it matches well.
alternatively how about a piece of jewellery which has her and your son's birth stone colours together - so it symbolises them individually but also represents their marriage as it shows them joining together.0 -
Some brilliant ideas, thank you so much:T

She doesn't have allot of jewelry that's why I though of something in this area.
I do like the idea of the charm bracelet or Pandora and the locket as well. Now I have to decide on which one lol:eek::DWow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p

i would go with a pandora to you can always get her new charms for bdays & xmas then:D
what a lovely mil you are mine would of liked to of put a knife in my back for taking away her baby :rotfl: prob still would after 12 yrs0 -
pandora is lovely but theyre not cheap - the bracelets are around £60 alone. I'd probably get the bracelet and one charm for her, that will be around £100 depending which charm you get.0

Do you know her favourite perfume? You could get her the body wash, body lotion, talc, spray etc. Then she could pamper herself to the hilt wth her favourite scent and feel wonderful on her wedding day. Or just get one of those items, depending on your budget. My friend did this for me when I got married and it was lovely.0

Pandora are great, there are also Trollbeads which are similar and might be cheaper

I'd give her your phone number and tell her you'll always be there if she needs you.
xSome days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!
