Upgraded to a serious member on plenty of fish and i went for the one year membership which clearly stated it was £6.80 a month but they charged me a £81.40 lump sum!!
I've complained but they're saying they don't do refunds! I'm skint now!!
Any suggestions?

I don't think you get an awful lot extra for upgrading,
Ok they put a gold star against your profile but anyone surfing checks profiles whether or not they're starred.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Arent there a couple of "totally free" dating sites you could have joined if you are worried about the money?
Even the free ones seem to want to encourage customers to pay for 'extras' or to promote a sister site which is paid for.
