Paying the solicitors bill on exchange?

    For sub £10k. Over that and u would have to chaps it to get there sane day. Who cares anyway, the gap between exchange and completion is usually not long. So what does it matter?

    Well waiting until the day of completion would be silly, but 2 weeks in advance seems over cautious.

    This wasn't really about the deposit, if the solicitors !!!! up you're bargaining power is limited if you've already paid the bill.
