Hey guys.
Well my total spend so far this year has been £15.31p not bad eh?
All in all its going well. its amazing how quickly everyhing comes second nature. ummm... update stuff.
my food supplys are lower but we have enough for a while yet. plenty of veggies and i have a chicken as well.
my electric bill was the lowest yet because i the only thing turned on 24/7 is my freezer and that is always well stocked. were planning to cook as much as possible on bbqs and bonfires when the weather gets better.
i could bore you with every item i brought but mainly it has been basics.
flour, sugar, butter (brough 6 pats for £1) bicarb. some reduced biscuits.
2 bottles of coke when we got stuck. freezer bags and a shower curtain.and a bag of pegs cos someone nicked my peg bag.
my current craft project is making a new peg bag from some old curtains and then to make something with the left overs. it was a massive curtain.
hope your all well out there.
feel free to ask questions if you wanna know more.
love
fishcake.

Well I am going to a concert at the Mermaid theatre next Monday ,not totally free, as I have to pay for the coach from North Kent £8.00 return but the entrance is free. It's the BBC recording of Friday Night Is Music Night .I went last year and was lucky enough to see and hear Vittorio Griggilo who was the top of the bill, plus The Choir boys , three young lads who sang like angels .The presenter was Paul Gambbucini (sp?) and it was an excellent night out for very little outlay .If you live in London I suppose the cost would come down quite a bit. The BBC ticket office often have lots of freebie seats for recordings of shows .not just in London ,but all over the country.O.K. maybe not everyone's taste but still a free night out .A lot of their comedy shows are recorded live as well. All you have to do is apply for the tickets and go along and clap (if they 're funny of course)
I also have been to a concert at Hackney Empire of musical show tunes that was recorded and it was very good.To see how the theatre has been restored to it's former glory was great for me as an old eastender0
