Rough idea of how much per head to eat out in Costa Blanca, Spain?

We are a family of 2 adults and our 3 teens.
Spending a week in Costa Blanca travelling the area - how much to eat out per head roughly please?
I am hoping to pick up sandwiches and finger foods for lunch but something hearty for dinner.
Visiting Alicante, Playa de Flamenca, Benidorm, Altea, Calpe, and other nearby attractions.
Thanks.

i'm no expert but the Costa Blanca seems more reasonably priced that a lot of other areas of Spain. It usually works out better value to have a menu del dia at lunchtime which can be anywhere between 8 and 15 euros for 3 courses and a drink. This is in good local spanish bars and restaurants where you'd find local workers enjoying nice simple food. sometimes i think oh I only want one course but quite often it's almost as much for one dish as for the lot. This sort of arrangement isn't usually available in the evenings but sometimes it will be if times are hard (as they are at the moment) You can get a pizza for about 8 euros if you've had something substantial at lunch you can make do with less at evening but of course with 3 teenagers they take some filling! Hope you have a good time. We went to javea about 10 years ago and visit every year now as we love it so much.0

3 course with a drink ie glass of wine or small beer/ soft drink for around 10 Euro pp from Menu del dia.
You can also get chinese buffets from about 5 or 6 Euro.0 -

Look at the menu before you go into the eating establishment and there's your answer. It's not rocket science.
obviously m33r4 wants to know the answer BEFORE they fly to Costa Blanca for budgeting purposes.

Javea's lovely, isn't it? I would say from my experience that you get better food and better value for money if you eat in the old town rather than the port or arenal (sandy beach) areas.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Chinese buffets are really good value the los amigos opposite the Ambassador hotel has starter, main, ice cream or tea/coffee and half a bottle of wine for 4.50 euros and you can have this in the evening up till about midnight, their normal menu isnt that expensive either. Also on that street is John and Josephs they're very cheap for food and drinks, in fact most of Benidorm is very reasonable for food.0

Benjus do you happen to know what's happened to Paco's bar which is up a side street opposite the Mercadona in the old town? It's still open but with a different name and we used to love the food there but don't know if it's still the same people. Also we found a fantastic tapas bar there when we went in april going down a very narrow side street down the side of the market. Wish i could remember the name - run by a brother and sister by the look of it and lots of different tapas that I'd never tried before and very cheap. I have NEVER had a bad meal in Javea and we rarely pay more than 60 euros for 4 people with a bottle of wine for us and couple of soft drinks and puds for the kids and a lot less than that if we do menu del dia. (sorry rambling on but trying to take my mind off the insulting comments of that other person whose name I can't remember)0

I haven't been recently I'm afraid. I was going very regularly for a couple of years, but that stopped a couple of years ago.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
