Hi everyone, was wondering if anyone has more knowledge on this subject than me!
I visited the readers digest shop online on july 7th to buy the Sesame Street Dvd for my daughter priced at £3.99
I received a confirmation email and as I had seen on their site to wait up to 14 days, I did so
The money was never taken from my account and obviously the dvd never arrived
Rang their customer services today who explained when I said the money had never been taken 'well it wouldnt have, they've only been back in stock a few days' and now the dvd is priced at £34.99 so my options were to 'run away,or buy it at £19.99' I did ask that surely as I had placed my order when the price was £3.99 I should be charged that amount and he said the system wouldnt let him price over-ride,but did offer me a Winnie the Pooh dvd for £3.99 instead
Apologies for the rambling but basically should I call or write again to them and demand the dvd at the price I technically ordered it at or shall I just admit defeat and pay full price?
Thanks in advance for any help guys

You can't demand - check the terms and conditions - the contracted price is in most cases not confirmed until goods are dispatched.
Given you are not down on any money whatsoever then there is very little chance of you getting it for the £3.99 price.0 -
Ahh thanks for the quick response
I'll have to keep an eye out in future and maybe order over the phone next time 0
