I am going away for a week for a friend's wedding, someone me this means I am not entitled to my benfits is this true? would like an official link if pioss please with answer, thanks guys.

If you are going away in the UK this is fine and you will fill in a holiday form, if you are going abroad you need to sign off and do a rapid reclaim on your return...looking for the link

To get Jobseeker's Allowance you must be:- available for, capable of and actively seeking work
- aged 18 or over but below State Pension age
- working less than 16 hours per week on average
- in Great Britain
