I can't travel until 19th August 2011, otherwise, I'd be booking this!

At this price, if the food is !!!! you can afford to eat out!

Hope it helps someone!

Still expensive....I could do a trip to Turkey far cheaper than that because I used to live there on the south coast and Istanbul. I also have English friends that would put people up and show them round. :)) Its not what you know its where you know and who you know :)) But people would have to be prepared to 'pay as you go' get the cheapest flight and be met by knowledgeable people who live in the area who would either put them up or find them the best deal in the hotels and pansyions over there. Depends if you want all inclusive or youre the adventurous type and want to meet the locals, eat real turkish food and make lots of life long Turkish friends.

Most tourists pay well over the odds for holidays there which makes me laugh when you can live like the natives and eat cheaply and stay and shop cheaply if you know where to go. :p

I could even recommend two reputable family run hotels in Istanbul for a 3-4 day Itinerary visit there (again not your usual bog standard seat of the pans tourist minubus run) but pay as you go itineraries into the Turkish community to places less visited by the masses. I know the place extremely well. Best time to go is out of season but Istanbul is always open all year round :D:D
:D Advice freely given is rarely taken except on MSE:cool: Dont shoot the messenger:)

it does look a nice hotel in a nice area, it is a good price for all inclusive friends are holidaying in this area for a fortnight self catering and have paid over £3000 for the 4 of them

I am going to Turkey but am going self catering and have got a good deal, booked it myself rather than a package as have been before.
