What have you found on your searches so far so we can compare?

September will be cheaper tahn August due to school holidays and also do you mean anywhere in Scotland or England or certain areas as there will be a huge difference in travel costs, and you did mention cheap in your question

We wnet to Griffon Forest, Yorkshire a good few years ago and they were nice and had hot tubs, not sure if they are cheap. Forest holiday sites also have cabins with hot tubs check out tehir website as tehy are all round the UK inc Scotland, again not cheap but they do have regular deals inc a next year sale sometime usually later in the year

We've just booked to go to Notter Mill http://www.nottermill.co.uk/index.php, and some of their accommodation has private hot tubs.

We too went to Griffon Forest a few years ago - personally it was abyssmal, the lodge was dirty (the sort of place where I had to wash all the cutlery and crockery before I even attempted to use it) and I wouldn't recommend it.

Crab Manor in Thirsk is amazing, we often stay midweek when travelling to York. http://www.crabandlobster.co.uk/page/hotel-rooms.htm
