1) Is it too late to post the letter now (phone lines are busy)?
2) There's been mention of household income for WTC; I live with my parents am over 25 and work 30+ hours a week but earn under the threshold; I thought their income was irrelevant for WTCs?
3) If it is too late, what time is best to call the hotline because I've been trying all day and keep getting cut off with a "we can't take your call right now"

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Your parents income does not count it is only your income and possibly your partner if you have one. It isn't too late to post just put it in the box and relax.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Thanks for the reply :D

To anyone who may of viewed this thread and not replied, finally got through and the whole process is rather quick. Tax credits will continue until it's all processed then if there are any changes I will be notified. *weight of my mind*

Still, feels odd doing it over the phone, like it's not as 'official'. So, naturally, I'm sitting here panicking about whether or not it's been done properly now because I'm such a worrying idiot lol :)
