Quest for Freebies!

Options
Hey everyone at MSE!
Now im just new to this site, but boy am i hooked!
Was wondering if anyone knew any good freebie sites, not for indivivual freebies themselves, but with listsalready collected?
Though it'd be handy for those of us who ignore the old saying 'you dont get anything for nothing' !

  • Welcome to MSE days4dreams!

The thing with freebies is that many of them are limited, so most lists would go out of date quickly! The best thing to do is to have a good look through the last few pages on MSE's freebies board and then check back on a regular basis!

There are a few good freebie sites out there, but all freebies eventually end up on here anyway!

I am a member of free-stuff but they dont update their freebie list that often, in the last 3 months i have had the same freebie list emailed to me with only 1 new freebie added. So personally i wouldn't get your hopes up.

  • First thing vickithomas !!!!!!.uk is not a membership site the only thing you signup to is there newsletter which i get 3 times a week with new free stuff and the site is updated 3 times a week you just need to take a look at the site too see the dates free stuff have been listed.
  • https://www.!!!!!!.uk is full of affiliate links. I wouldn't bother with it unless you know which ones are genuinely good. As long as you keep a look out for entries like 'FREE CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD!' and 'FREE IPOD NANO' and don't click on them.

The point is, john1975, that some people are unaware of what affiliate links are and that they are biased.

Basically, you get no spam or crap if you stick to MSE days4dreams. You just get genuine freebies, with none of the 'Free Ipod if you get 10 of your friends to sign up to x' sort of links.
  • i still dont see your point i see lots of freebie sites use there own page links to track freebies and not to hide spam or crap freebies i can list them if you like. Also what is this MSE days4dreams??????

  • I don't think you understand what I mean. An affiliate link, or referral link, gives money to the site owner. On the site that was suggested there are tons of links for sites that will make the site owner money. These sites are not REAL freebies, they are basically scam sites.

Here are some 'freebies' from the main page...

    Free Capital One Credit Card
    1. Credit limit from £200 up to £2,500
    2. Typical rate 34.9% APR (variable).
    3. Annual Fee: None

    Free Shopping at Asda
Complete a short survey and you can win a year of free shopping at Asda, plus entry into a prize draw for £10,000.

    Free iPod Nano
Simply fill out the short form to enter.

    Free Sony Playstation 3
Register for free with FreeRewardCente, Complete some offers, refer some friends to do the same and receive your free playstion 3 from them, with no shipping charges.

My point is that I personally would stick to MSE as you know that there are people here to pick up on the scam freebie sites, and you won't get stuck with a 'free' credit card.

PS. I think you know that MSE means moneysavingexpert.com and days4dreams is the OP.
  • lol davodedthomas you really dont know what you talking about you see a site saying win "free shopping at asda" you call it a scam why dont you email all those sites offering the "scam offers" you call it and tell them its a scam you find yourself in court, what you dont understand every site even MSN has affiliate links which to pay the running of the site hosting, staff and so on, so before you call any site a scam do your research on what they offer.

davodedthomas i know that MSE means moneysavingexpert.com but i didnt not know what days4dreams means!
