Of course you're worried hun, he's your Woofer.
Have you tried looking at his paw, without touching it? Is it just the one leg that he's having trouble with?Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

If his legs can't hold him up what choice have we got other than to have him put to sleep!
Oh hon, I wish I could give you a big hug right now. We lost our dog at the beginning of December, he had a tumour on his nose that couldn't be treated, just managed. When we took him to the vet and got the diagnosis we were really worried because he also struggled quite a lot with his back legs, especially when he'd been laid down for a long time (sometimes we'd have to lift him onto his feet - then he'd be okish), but the vet said if he was still eating and getting about, even a bit, then he still had quality of life and didn't need putting down.
I'm probably not helping here, but what I'm trying to say is that it may not be the bad news that you're expecting. Man, I can not be dealing with the ups and downs with the bloody woofer!
Took him to the vets and he is pretty much fine. Lost his nail and the toe is really infected and swollen. He's got antibiotics for that and anti-inflamatory's for his arthritis. Plus drops for his ear. So only cost me £90!
Poxy dog!
Thank you to everyone for their kind words. I just feared the worst (again) yesterday. He could barely even stand and I was petrified the vet would say he was lame and it's only fair to put him to sleep!
But he is doing alright. Had to lift him in and out of the car, all 7 stone of him  so I'm the one who needs medical help now! :rotfl:
Thanks again everyone. :kisses3:0 -

What a relief to be able to call him a poxy dog though eh??
I remember when I was at uni I phoned my Mum at midnight one year to say Happy New Year and she was crying ... the vet had just left .... it was horrific, I was at a party and couldn't afford a taxi home on my own so had to wait for others, everyone was happy and laughing and I was blubbing away in the corner and everyone thought I was a melodramatic drunk who couldn't bear to see the old year out
Glad he's all fine, give him an extra big cuddle tonight hun !!Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
Mortgage Overpayments Pot £9470
