  • Got to take woofer back to the vets! :(

He has suffered from arthritis for a while but tonight he is really struggling to stand up! We noticed the other day he had lost a toe nail aswell so was gonna take him for that but he is really wobbly on his legs.

When we took him back for his jabs the vet clipped his claws and said something about him not getting much blood to his toes but didn't seem concerned too much. Just the toe nails were growing at funny angles so just clipped them!

But now this! He keeps licking his paw but he won't let anyone look at it. He's never liked his feet being touched.

Hopefully we can get an appointment tomorrow otherwise it will be Wednesday when they open again! :undecided

    Oh no SS, poor Woofer

Hopefully, it'll be a sore toe where he lost his nail, and nothing more serious.

Fingers crossed you get an appointment tomorrow x

  • ss you are fab! you have paid off so much bloody money its mad!

you are the reason why I worked my debt out the way I have - it wouldn't have even entered my head to pay off so much so soon until I saw your figures!

I won't be debt free as soon as I like but it will happen!

so best of luck in 2008- and this time next year you will be debt FREE!

    xx

SS, have you tried giving Woofer kelp powder on his dinner to help with the Arthur?

We had a dog years ago who suffered, and the kelp really helped her.

Good luck with woofer SS, I know elderly dogs can be a real worry at times. Ours used to keep losing the odd nail, we'd spot him chewing his foot and then someone would discover a claw that he'd lost. He REALLY hated anyone touching his feet - it would take two of us, one to hold the bitey end while the other played podiatrist.x

  • I'm just feeling all the dread I did when he had to have his op and then all the days before the biopsy results. :(

If his legs can't hold him up what choice have we got other than to have him put to sleep! :(
