  • Hiya SS, just wanted to say hello, hope you had a good christmas, even if you were working

just be glad you are at home with your family. I spent a load flying home for christmas but had to come back on boxing day as I was working Thurs-Sat, but then realised I had eff all to do over new years so I have forked out for more flights home so I won't be a sad case sitting on my own :D

I see you are sub 12K now (probably have been for a while cos I haven't been on much over xmas) Congratulations & keep up the good work. Can't believe how much you have paid off since I first met you just over a year ago! Wish I had saved that much!

Hope once you are debt free you will "come clean" to your family & friends so you can post a pic - I wanna see if you are as jaundiced & balding as I imagine :D:p

    Wiggly woo! :hello:

Congrats SS - last time I looked you were around the mid-13 mark, now you're past the 12k and it's not even 2008 yet!

You're a star and an inspiration to many :T

I'm good ta hun! After a 10 hour sleep anyway! :D

    Hows you? :)
  • Only another 32 hours to go! Wohoo! :rotfl:

Am seriously skint at the moment! Got £40 in my wallet and I need to get petrol. Will probably just put £20's worth in.

But, it has made me realise how far I've come. Two and a half years ago I wouldn't have batted an eyelid and just put a full tank in taking me into my overdraft. Now, even though I'll only end up filling it up when I'm paid anyway, I refuse to use the O/D and pay the bank something like 10p in interest. :D

Have just applied for a Goldfish credit card aswell. Simply because it offers £41 cashback through Quidco. If I'm accepted then I'll just keep it 6 months or so and then cancel it. If rejected, well I never wanted their crappy card anyway! :p

Not filling up unless you need to is money saving. It means your're not burning petrol just to hump a load of petrol around.

I've always been baffled by the irony in driving to a petrol station! :undecided

Snap, I'm just about to do the same! I'm determined to make as much as possible so it's all tracking by new year. Still not been paid for the whiskas thing though way back in August. Dating Direct tracked quickly though....
