When people disappear, I do sometimes wonder why - I like to think in some cases it's because people have got what they need from the site, and even if they aren't debt free, they have learned the skills they need to get there on their own, without needing the site as a support network. I'm sure a lot of people do disappear because it just gets too hard as well though, or because they fall off the wagon and are too ashamed to admit it.

In some ways I still think of myself as a newbie, because there are loads of people on here who have been members for much longer than I have, but I suppose I'm not a newbie really! It's good to see fresh faces appearing though, the mixture of old and new works, most of the time!

I hope you don't just disappear one day - we would miss you - if you're going to go, at least come and say goodbye, or pop in every now and again just to let us know how you're doing.

    But really.....don't go! :o

Don't worry I won't be going for a long time. I've got the mortgage board and the gambling board to keep me here. :D

I mean....... all you guys! :p

It's just a weird feeling. There a people who have played a massive part in my journey that are no longer here.

Funny what strangers across the interweb can do ain't it? :undecided

  • I have just figured out how to subscribe to posts! so hello SS your Diary is the only one I have ever read from start to sort of page 80 something. then I lost the internet but now I am back.

I have a made "internet" friends through various hobbies and some have stayed and some have gone. most helped me in some way, it is very odd when you think strangers that you have never met and might not even like have such an effect on your life. pretty cool.

I am watching a film about killer monkeys. I so NEED to get out more.

ooops some one else just met a monkey. ho hum.

    xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • I hate shopping! And I'm not done yet!

All the difficult things I wanted I couldn't get! :wall:

So I have to go out AGAIN!
  • Can't you do it online SS? Much easier and less tempetation for impulse buys, for example car mats ;)

Also, please dont go away when you become debt free (by at least this time next year), I love your posts and you were one of the first people to help me when I joined and have done ever since - your support has been invaluable to me and I am sure countless others and I just love the flirting :p as well as helping me make easy money :rotfl: You make me laugh and giggle and feel like a schoolgirl again and you also make me feel in control and that I can be strong if that makes sense.

I know I dont post a lot nowadays but I do keep up with everyone by reading and I would hate it if you went, as I would also hate it if others went.

Are you coming to the Birmingham meet? I would love to see you there ;)
