SS why don't you just do your shopping online it's soooooo much easier (and you might get cashback too :D).

Well I've done all I think I can online! :undecided

Now I need to get the crap like wrapping paper, selection boxes, that sort of tat!

You don't know how much I hate shopping! :rotfl:

I love shopping I just hate all the other people that decide to do it at the same time as me!
Xmas shopping actually put me on a bit of a downer yesterday as I've been with my (now ex) boyfriend to do it for the past three years but not this time so it made me a bit sad. Oh well I'll just have to get a new one for next year :D

Thats what I miss about my ex. All I had to do was hand over money and carry bags. She did all the rest! :D

Did she have to wrap the presents too SS? I did. In fact I also paid for all his families presents plus my own last year and the git still hasn't paid me back!

She wouldn't let me wrap them. She said 'you can't give people presents looking like that'!

So I had to go and put some pants on. :)

I wouldn't let him wrap them either :rotfl:can any men wrap presents? I think you do it on purpose so you get out of doing it yourself!

Well his horrible family will be getting rubbishly wrapped presents this year and I bet he uses the horrific Shopacheck to buy them too so will be paying for them until xmas 2010!

  • I'm in a reflective mood tonight. :undecided

Been going through some old threads I'm subscribed to, some going back to 2005. It's funny (not ha ha) the number of old names and memories that come back to you.

They aren't people I know (like everyone else I guess) but I feel sad that many no longer post. They were the 'old skool' if you like. The people I first encountered when I joined and the first to give advice. I guess those that achieve their goals move on to a new chapter in their lives and it's left me wondering what or where my next chapter is.

It felt like I knew everyone back then and whenever their was a newbie posting I'd instantly jump in and try and help them. But now the site has grown so much in 2 years that I see all these names and I don't know even half of them!

I wonder whether I'll be like that. One day just never posting again. People move on I guess. Just seems weird to cut a huge part of your life away for good. I'm not saying it's a bad thing or a good thing. Just feels weird. I don't even know what the point of this all is!

I think I've got too much time on my hands! :rotfl:
  • thanks SS. I was prob on there back in 2005 and it worries me that some of those people chose not to continue posting because they felt their dfw journeys were just too hard? If so, I hope they will be back.....
